The Master in InterAmerican Studies has an international focus, enriched by different exchange programs and cooperation with several universities in North and Latin America. The large number of international cooperation agreements allows students to have more options to study abroad. This allows them to complement their academic profile and define their interests as well as their professional perspectives. To ensure the best preparation before the exchange, students receive individual counseling from the host university.
There are two exchange options funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The (ISAP) programs with Universidad de Guadalajara (Mexico) and Universidad Nacional de La Plata (Argentina) offer scholarships and transportation costs.
As a result of the efforts to increase international cooperation within the InterAmerican Studies / Estudios InterAmericanos program, students have the possibility to choose the Double Degree option with Maestría de Literaturas Interamericanas at the Universidad de Guadalajara, Mexico.
Both the binational option and an exchange not only offer the opportunity to learn about different cultures and improve language skills, but also open up other possibilities to acquire essential intercultural skills.
